Privacy Policy

Overview
Nudge is a quoting and signature tool for contractors. This policy explains what information Nudge collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Nudge mobile apps (iOS, Android), the Nudge web app, and any signing links sent to contractors’ customers.
Two kinds of people interact with Nudge: contractors who sign up for an account, and their customers, who receive and sign quotes. Different sections below apply to each.
Information we collect
From contractors (account holders)
- Name, email, password (encrypted), and organization name
- Organization branding you choose to provide (logo, brand colors, custom terms and conditions)
- Device tokens used to deliver push notifications
- Content you create in Nudge: products, customers, quotes, documents, and signatures collected from your customers
From customers (people signing quotes)
- Name and email address provided to your contractor
- Your signature image and the timestamp, IP address, and user-agent captured when you sign — this is required to make the signature a legally valid record
- The version of any terms and conditions you accepted by signing
From customers paying online
- When you pay a signed quote online, Stripe collects your payment information directly. This typically includes your name, billing address, email, and payment card or digital wallet credentials.
- Nudge does not see, store, or transmit payment card numbers, CVV codes, or full card details. Nudge receives only a non-sensitive payment identifier from Stripe to associate the payment with the quote.
Nudge processes customer information on behalf ofthe contractor who sent the quote. The contractor decides what to do with that information. If you’re a customer with a question about your data, contact the contractor who sent you the quote first; you can also email us at support@nudgequote.appand we’ll help route the request.
How we use information
- To provide the Nudge service: create and send quotes, capture signatures, store records
- To send transactional emails (quote delivery, signing confirmations) and push notifications you’ve opted into
- To facilitate online payments from your customers when you enable the payments feature, and to send payment receipts and confirmations
- To keep the service secure and debug problems
- To comply with legal obligations, including retaining signed records as legally valid evidence
Nudge does not sell personal information, run ads, or share information with advertisers.
Third-party services
Nudge runs on infrastructure provided by trusted vendors. These vendors process data on Nudge’s behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Supabase— database, authentication, and file storage (account data, quotes, signatures)
- Vercel— hosts the Nudge web app and signing pages
- Cloudflare— DNS and edge network for nudgequote.app
- Firebase Cloud Messaging(Google) — delivers push notifications to your device
- Resend— sends transactional emails (quote delivery, signing confirmations, payment receipts)
- Stripe— processes contractor subscription payments and, when enabled, customer payments for signed quotes (via Stripe Connect). For both, card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure forms; Nudge never sees or stores them. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for cardholder data and as our processor for payment metadata. See Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
We don’t use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social-network embeds.
Retention and deletion
Contractors can delete their account at any time from Profile → Danger zonein the Nudge app. If you’re the only owner of your workspace, you’ll be asked to delete the workspace first.
Account deletion permanently removes your login, profile, device tokens, and personal notification history. Workspace deletion removes the workspace and its data from the app for everyone.
Exception for signed records. Signed quotes are legally binding documents. We retain the signed PDF, the signature image, and the associated audit metadata (timestamp, IP address, user-agent, terms version) after a workspace is deleted so the record remains available as legal evidence to the parties who signed it. The data is removed from all user-facing views and is not used for any other purpose. If you need a signed record permanently removed for a specific legal reason, contact support@nudgequote.app.
