Branding & terms
Your logo, your colors and your terms are on everything a customer sees. Set them once; every quote picks them up.
Branding
Open Settings → Branding, in the app or on the web. As you change things, the preview shows the result on each place your brand appears: the signing page, the signed PDF, the text message card, and the receipt.
Logo
Upload a PNG or JPG, up to 5 MB. nudge trims the empty space around it and takes out a plain white background so it sits cleanly on the page — if you’d rather keep the background, you can. It’s shown at the top of every quote.
No logo? Choose Use my business name instead and your name is set in type in its place.
Colors
- Accent color — the Sign & accept button and the message card your customer gets.
- Wordmark color — your business name, where it stands in for a logo.
Pick a color pulled from your logo, match one from anywhere on screen, or type a hex code. If a color is too light to read, or too light for white button text, nudge says so and suggests a deeper shade.
Terms & conditions
Your terms are what the customer agrees to when they sign, and they’re the one setup step you can’t skip: no quote can go out until they’re set. Open Settings → Terms and choose how to start:
- Upload a document — the PDF or Word file you already have. A Word file is re-set in your quote’s format, so check it reads right.
- Type your own — write your terms straight onto the page.
- Start from a template — pre-written terms you can adapt.
Review it as your customer will see it and click any line to edit it, then save.
Versions
Every time you save changes, nudge keeps it as a new version. A quote is signed against the version that was current when the customer signed, and that’s the version in their signed PDF — changing your terms later never changes a contract that’s already signed.
Your business details
Your business name and address print at the top of every quote, PDF and receipt, and your address sets your default sales-tax rate. Your own name and phone number are the contact on every quote you send. Change them under Profile. More on your profile.
