QuickBooks & Stripe
nudge connects to the tools that keep your books and move your money, so nothing gets typed twice.
QuickBooks Online
With QuickBooks connected, every paid quote — card, cash or check — posts to QuickBooks on its own, matched to the customer, deposits included. Nothing to re-enter at the end of the month.
- Open Settings → Accounting and choose Connect QuickBooks. Sign in to QuickBooks and allow the connection.
- Choose where income goes — the QuickBooks account your sales post to. Payments are recorded as an invoice plus a payment, with sales tax, customers and detail on sensible defaults you can change.
- Already have paid quotes from before you connected? Use Sync past quotes to send them over.
- The history on the Accounting page lists everything that has posted, and each quote’s page on the web shows its QuickBooks status.
- If QuickBooks asks you to sign in again, paid quotes wait until you do, then post. Your settings are kept.
- Connecting, changing and disconnecting QuickBooks is for the owner.
Stripe
Stripe powers online payments in nudge: cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and bank transfers (ACH), straight from the signing page, with payouts to your bank. The owner connects it from Settings → Payments, and that’s also where you see balances and payouts, refund a payment, or answer a dispute without leaving nudge.
Prefer to take payment yourself? You don’t need Stripe at all — record cash, check and transfers on each quote, and they still post to QuickBooks. Signing & payment covers both.
