Building quotes

You can build quotes from your phone, tablet, or the web.

Products

Save the products and services you sell most often to your Products list. Each saved item keeps its name, description, attached documents, and price, so you can drop it into any quote instead of retyping.

Bundles

Group related products into a bundle for jobs you quote the same way every time. When you build a quote, add the whole bundle in one step instead of adding each product separately.

Each bundle has a Display mode that controls how it appears on the quote your customer sees. Set it in the bundle editor:

Rolled up— one bundle headline and total appear, with the products listed as small grey sub-bullets underneath. This is the default.

Itemized— each product shows on the quote as its own line item with its own price.

Hidden— only the bundle name and total appear; the products are hidden from the customer.

Document library

Documents attach to line items automatically once you link them to a product via the web portal. You can link documents to a product two ways: from Settings → Documents in the Documents tab, or from the product details page — open Products and click a product to open it. Linked documents appear on both the signing page and the contract.

Add line items

Add items to a quote from the Products menu. Set the quantity and price for each line, and the running total updates as you go. Reorder line items by holding and dragging.

Discounts

Apply a discount to the quote subtotal. Enter it as a percentage or a fixed amount, and nudge recalculates the totals and tax automatically.

Tax and totals

nudge applies tax to the taxable subtotal, using the customer zip code when available and your business zip code otherwise. The quote total, any deposit, and the balance due are shown before you send.
