Products, customers & documents

What your quotes are built from. Set it up once and every quote — and on Team plans, every rep — uses the same list.

Products and bundles

Your catalog is the list of products and services you sell. Each one keeps its name, description, price and category, plus any documents linked to it, so you add it to a quote in one tap instead of retyping it. Manage it under Products, in the app or on the web.

  • Categories group your catalog, and become the filters you see when you add line items to a quote.
  • Bundles are groups of products you always quote together — say, a full install with its parts and labor. Add them to a quote in one step, and choose whether the customer sees them rolled up under one price or itemized line by line.

Customers

Customers holds everyone you quote: name, phone, email and address. You can add a customer from the list or right from a new quote. Their ZIP code sets the tax rate when your business charges tax by customer location.

Import from a spreadsheet

On the web, Products and Customers each have an Import / Export menu. Import a CSV or Excel file, match its columns to nudge’s fields, review what will be added, and nudge reports anything it skipped and why. Export as CSV downloads your list.

Document library

Documents (in the web sidebar, or under Settings in the app) holds the files you send again and again: spec sheets, brochures, warranties. Upload a PDF, PNG, JPG or Word file up to 10 MB — Word files are turned into PDFs — and sort them into folders.

Link a document to a product, from Documents or from the product’s own page, and it’s attached automatically whenever that product is on a quote. Your customer sees it on the signing page, and it’s part of the signed PDF.

Photos and files for one job only — a site photo, a plan — are added to the quote itself as attachments, not to the library.
